Castellana Festival of the Braciola and Autopodistic Carrera

The 2025 edition of the Castellana Festival of the Braciola and the Autopodistic Carrera took place on Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Castel San Pietro Terme, in the heart of the Settembre Castellano. The day celebrated the 74th edition of the festival and the 71st edition of the human-powered vehicle race.

The morning began at 9:00 AM with the parade of teams and fan groups, followed at midday by the Coppa Terme - Trofeo Giuseppe Raggi on Viale Terme. In the afternoon, the historic center hosted the Carrera Rosa (women's race) at 5:30 PM and the Autopodistic Carrera - Trofeo Maurizio Ragazzi, held in two rounds. The big novelty of the year was the After Race - Carrera Party in Piazza XX Settembre, with DJ sets from 7:30 PM until late at night, while at 11:30 PM the fireworks display took place over the Parco Lungo Sillaro. Throughout the day, the Festival of the Braciola offered Castellano gastronomic specialties awarded nationally.

Morning

• 9:00 AM — Parade of Carrera teams and fan groups (earlier than previous years)
• 12:00 PM — Coppa Terme - Trofeo Giuseppe Raggi on Viale Terme; opening of refreshment stands with grilled pork chops

Afternoon (historic center)

• 5:30 PM — Carrera Rosa (women's race)
• 6:00 PM — Autopodistic Carrera, Trofeo Maurizio Ragazzi, 1st round (from 13th to 20th grid position)
• 6:30 PM — Autopodistic Carrera, 2nd round (from 1st to 12th grid position)

Evening (Piazza XX Settembre and Parco Lungo Sillaro)

• 7:30 PM - 12:30 AM — After Race - Carrera Party with rotating DJ sets (new for 2025)
• 11:30 PM — Fireworks display at Parco Lungo Sillaro

The novelty of the After Race - Carrera Party with DJ sets until late at night, the two races of the Trofeo Maurizio Ragazzi in the historic center, and the fireworks over the Parco Lungo Sillaro.
