Edition 2025 — Casteldaccia Carnival

The seventh edition of the Casteldaccia Carnival took place from February 27 to March 4, 2025, combining tradition, culture, and gastronomy. Highlights included the first edition of the Cannolo Festival, parades of allegorical floats and masquerade groups, free tastings of Donna Itriya pasta, and the final lottery draw, in a celebration of color and flavor that involved residents and visitors.

Casteldaccia Carnival 2025

The seventh edition of the Casteldaccia Carnival was held from Thursday, February 27 to Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The opening, on Thursday at 4:00 PM, featured the traditional "Giro dei Tamburini" (Drummers' Tour) through the town streets, followed by the official presentation in the Municipal Hall of Piazza Matrice.

Among the most anticipated events, on Saturday, March 1, was the first edition of the Cannolo Festival, with tastings of cannoli prepared by the best local master pastry chefs. Sunday, March 2, featured the parade of allegorical floats and masquerade groups, arriving in the evening at Piazza Matrice. Monday, March 3, included the free tasting of Donna Itriya pasta with pork ragù and Corvo wine, while on Tuesday, March 4, the final parade preceded the carnival lottery draw.
