Castelbasso 2025 — 27th edition
The 2025 edition of the Castelbasso Festival, in the village of Castellalto (Teramo), took place from July 26 to August 31. The protagonist was the exhibition 'Gilberto Zorio. Confine', curated by Ilaria Bernardi, hosted in the spaces of Palazzo Clemente and Palazzo De Sanctis.
With twenty-seven works, the double exhibition retraced sixty years of the Arte Povera master's career, featuring installations, alchemical materials, light effects, and archetypal symbols. The program included educational activities for children and families, guided tours, creative workshops, and themed evenings, confirming Castelbasso as a point of reference for contemporary art in Abruzzo. The event was organized by the Fondazione Malvina Menegaz per le Arti e le Culture.
