The 2025 Wine Festival
From August 16 to 20, 2025, Castel San Lorenzo, in the heart of Cilento, returned for five days to being a small capital of taste. The Wine Festival, organized by the Pro Loco Castel San Lorenzo, celebrated the prestigious Castel San Lorenzo DOC wine and the food and wine excellence of the Calore Valley in that edition as well.
The program alternated between tastings of wines from local wineries, food stalls with typical Cilento dishes, folk music, and entertainment moments designed for all ages, in a village festival atmosphere that attracts residents, returning emigrants, and tourists vacationing on the Cilento coast every year.
The 2025 edition confirmed the traditional placement of the event in the week of Ferragosto, paving the way for the 29th edition in 2026.
