Castagnata in Piazza 2025

The 2025 edition took place on Saturday, October 25, in Piazza Matteotti in Radicondoli, starting at 4:00 PM, organized by the Pro Loco. The day featured roasted chestnuts, pastries, sandwiches, and beer, in an autumnal festive atmosphere in the heart of the Sienese Colline Metallifere village.

The program alternated gastronomy, tradition, and music: from 3:00 PM, flower sales in front of the Collegiate Church; from 4:00 PM, the start of the chestnut roasting and grilling; at 4:15 PM, a performance by the Filarmonica Becucci; at 5:30 PM, ottava rima storytelling from the peasant tradition; and from 6:00 PM, live music with the Trio Gig, followed by a DJ set.
