Edition 2025 — Battagliosi Castagnata
The 2025 Castagnata and fiazein festival was held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM, in the Battagliosi-Albareto hamlet of Molare, in the province of Alessandria. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Battagliosi-Albareto as part of the "Battagliosi in festa" series, brought the hamlet's community together around the two local signature products: roasted chestnuts and fiazein, the specialty recognized with De.Co. status since 2008.
As per tradition, the afternoon was enlivened by a children's gymkhana, with prizes and free registration, and live music. A day of celebration dedicated to the autumn flavors of the Ovada area and village conviviality.
