Castagnata di Caglio

The 2025 edition of the Castagnata di Caglio was held over two Sundays, September 28 and October 5, starting at 12:00 PM. Organized by Pro Caglio, the festival offered roasted chestnuts, grilled food, and typical dishes, accompanied by musical entertainment, games, and animation. Between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, an easy walk took place in the historic chestnut groves of the area, dedicated to the history of local chestnut trees, their relationship with the community and traditional economy, enriched with anecdotes and curiosities about the fruit. An event that combined taste, culture, and nature, confirming the bond of the Triangolo Lariano village with its chestnut groves.
