Edition 2025 — Casinum

During the summer of 2025, the Roman Theatre of Cassino hosted the Casinum festival, featuring a rich programme of music, theatre, and open-air cinema. Organised by the Municipality of Cassino and the Pro Loco, the edition confirmed the popular formula of many free events and affordable shows in the archaeological area of ancient Casinum.

The Casinum summer festival also brought the tiers of the Roman Theatre of Cassino, in the province of Frosinone, to life in 2025 with a programme spread throughout the summer. Live music, theatrical performances, comedy, and open-air cinema screenings accompanied residents and visitors during summer evenings in one of the most evocative settings in southern Lazio.

Promoted by the Municipality of Cassino together with the Pro Loco, the event confirmed its popular vocation, with numerous free-admission events and capped-price tickets for major shows, enhancing the link between contemporary culture and the city's archaeological heritage.
