Caselle Film Festival 2025: ten years of CFF

The tenth edition of the Caselle Film Festival was held from August 7 to 9, 2025 in the open-air cinema arena of Piazza Olmo, in Caselle in Pittari, in the province of Salerno. Three free-entry evenings made up of screenings, meetings, and reflections on the relationship between cinema and nature, in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.

The tenth anniversary saw some well-known faces of Italian cinema take the stage: Marco Bocci on the opening night of August 7, Gianmarco Tognazzi on August 8, Violante Placido and Gabriel Garko on the closing night of August 9.

Competition and juries

The competition was divided into the Environment Selection and the Animation Selection. The professional jury, composed of Fiorenza Genovese, Giorgia Fantozzi, Federico Curci, Sabrina Russo, and Giulia Monella, awarded the Caselle Art Award to the best short film along with two special mentions, while a youth jury formed by a few dozen local under-30s attributed the Caselle Young Award. The event took place with the support of the European Union and the Ministry of Culture and under the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment.
