The 39th Sausage Festival

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, from 8:30 PM, the historic Piazza Municipio of Casalnuovo Monterotaro hosted the thirty-ninth edition of the Sausage Festival. In 2025, the signature dish remained the traditional sausage sandwich prepared according to the Apulian recipe, accompanied by excellent local wine.

The evening was enlivened by music, singing, and dancing, with entertainment provided by artist Lello Minetti. The event, sponsored by the municipal administration and supported by the community, confirmed its role as a summer landmark for residents and tourists of the Monti Dauni, dedicated to celebrating the gastronomic traditions of the Daunian Sub-Apennines.
