Edition 2025 — Cartignano Eco Weekend

In 2025, the Cartignano Eco Weekend had not yet debuted: its first edition is the 2026 one. During the year, however, the Valle Maira village experienced the cultural revival of the Borghi Ritrovati project, with the patronal feast of San Lorenzo in August, the inauguration of the renovated Piazza Paschero, concerts in Piedmontese and Occitan, and the Borghi in Dialogo festival in autumn.

The Cartignano Eco Weekend was born in 2026, but its roots lie in the initiatives of the Borghi Ritrovati project that already animated Cartignano in 2025. Among the highlights were the patronal feast of San Lorenzo from August 7 to 12, with the nature walk along the Maira stream, the official inauguration of the renovated Piazza Paschero, and the concert in the Piedmontese language by the group Trelilu. In autumn, the village hosted the cultural festival Borghi in Dialogo and, during Christmas, widespread events and the Occitan music concert by the Sonadors. This ferment paved the way for the birth of the Eco Weekend dedicated to nature and sustainability.
