Edition 2025 — Carrufo Scattered Nativity

The 2025 edition of the Carrufo Scattered Nativity Scene took place from December 7, 2025, to January 6, 2026, in the village of Carrufo, a hamlet of Villa Santa Lucia degli Abruzzi (AQ). Along the alleys, arches, and stairways of the village, illuminated wooden silhouettes curated by Paolo Seccia were set up, featuring scenes of rural life and markets of traditional products, organized by the Pro Loco of Carrufo.

From December 7, 2025, to January 6, 2026, the village of Carrufo, at the foot of the Gran Sasso, hosted a new edition of its scattered nativity scene. The wooden silhouettes by Paolo Seccia, delicately illuminated, told the story of the Nativity and scenes of village life along the oldest alleys and stairways of the town. The Pro Loco of Carrufo managed the setup and the markets of traditional products, confirming a now-traditional appointment of the L'Aquila winter, which has also been highlighted over the years by national television reports.
