Edition 2025 — Carresi di Montecilfone
In 2025, Montecilfone also celebrated the Carresi in the days following the feast of Sant'Antonio da Padova, with the parade of ox-drawn carts, the procession of the Saint, and stands offering Italo-Albanian cuisine and pampanella.
The 2025 edition of the Carresi di Montecilfone confirmed the vitality of this Arbëreshë rite in lower Molise. After the feast of Sant'Antonio da Padova on June 13th, the agricultural carts adorned with flowers and pulled by oxen with golden horns paraded through the village streets, accompanying the statue of the Saint. Numerous visitors were drawn by the stands offering pampanella and dishes of the Italo-Albanian tradition.
