Edition 2025 — Carrese of San Pardo

In 2025, the Carrese of San Pardo once again brought Larino together around its approximately 130 ox-drawn carts, hand-decorated with crepe paper flowers, during four days of processions, solemn masses, and popular celebrations in the Frentanian historic center.

The 2025 edition of the Carrese of San Pardo renewed at the end of May the millennial rite of the city of Larino, in the province of Campobasso. The wooden carts pulled by oxen, the result of months of work in decorating them with crepe paper flowers, paraded through the streets of the historic center accompanied by religious processions and popular devotion. The feast, nominated for UNESCO intangible heritage recognition, confirmed its role as the most anticipated event in Lower Molise.
