Edition 2025 — Carrara Carnival

In 2025, the Carrara Carnival brought confetti, entertainment, and creativity to the squares. On February 16, Piazza Gramsci hosted "Carnevale in Piazza" with workshops and shows for children, while on Shrove Tuesday, March 4, the traditional Artistic Carnival parade of the Gentileschi high school took place.

The 2025 edition of the Carrara Carnival confirmed the formula of a widespread festival between the historic center and Marina di Carrara. On February 16, Piazza Gramsci hosted "Carnevale in Piazza", with the "Arti in Banco" market in the morning and an afternoon of music, group dances, creative workshops, and entertainment for the little ones.

The highlight came on Tuesday, March 4, with the Artistic Carnival of the "Gentileschi" high school: hundreds of masked students paraded from the Via Sarteschi headquarters to Piazza Gramsci, bringing to life a show inspired by artistic themes linked to quotes from great masters like Degas and Picasso.
