Carpino in Folk 2025
The fifth edition of the festival's new season, from August 6th to 10th, 2025, was themed "Apri gli occhi… Guarda al Futuro", with a strong appeal for the protection of the environment and the Gargano landscape. The evenings in Piazza del Popolo brought together voices and rhythms from across the Mediterranean.
On stage, Enzo Gragnaniello, the Cantori di Carpino, the Compagnia Popolare Salentina, Ars Nova Napoli & Daniele Sepe, BandAdriatica, and Alborosie & Shengen Clan for the reggae night took turns. On August 8th, Carmine Padula and Antonio Pizzarelli presented the official soundtrack of the edition, a prologue to the birth of the Orchestra Popolare del Carpino in Folk. Alongside the concerts, excursions in the Gargano National Park, chitarra battente and frame drum seminars, and tastings of Carpino fava beans were offered.
