Carnival Polenta Feast (Shrove Tuesday)

The 2025 edition of the Carnival Polenta Feast confirmed the great affection of San Mauro Torinese for this end-of-Carnival celebration. In Piazza Europa, on Shrove Tuesday, citizens of all ages queued up to receive the polenta served with the flavors of the Piedmontese peasant tradition, amidst communal tables and a festive atmosphere. The event, promoted by the Municipal Administration with the Pro Loco Città di San Mauro, renewed the popular ritual that has closed the San Mauro Carnival for years, with the collaboration of local associations and volunteer groups.
