Carnival Parade in Municipality XI (Portuense - Villa Bonelli)

2025 Carnival Parade

In February 2025, the Portuense neighborhood, in the Villa Bonelli area, hosted a new edition of the Carnival Parade for local school children. On Thursday, February 27, starting at 10:00 AM, students from the Piero Terracina Comprehensive Institute (Caproni branch) and the little ones from the Castello Incantato nursery school brought the neighborhood streets to life with masks and colorful costumes.

The procession traveled through Via Solidati Tiburzi, Via degli Irlandesi, Via Leopoldo Ruspoli, Via Pietro Venturi, Via Prospero Colonna, and Piazza Lorenzini, concluding around 11:30 AM at the Largo Santa Silvia garden, where the children continued the party with games and recreational activities. The event, free and sponsored by Rome's Municipality XI, confirmed the strong bond between Portuense schools and the neighborhood community.
