Carnival of the Worlds

The "Carnival of Tradition" 2025 brought classic Italian masks back to the historic center of Castel San Pietro Terme, from Pulcinella to Arlecchino, alongside local figures like Sgambillo and Pigidoro. The parade started at 2:30 PM from Piazza Galvani, proceeding along Via dei Mille, Via Mazzini, Via Cavour, Via Matteotti, and Via Manzoni to Piazza XX Settembre. At 4:00 PM, the Cassero Theater hosted the puppet show "Il terribile bebè" (The Terrible Baby), while the afternoon was enlivened by the Castel San Pietro Band, the Batucada Corretto Samba Group, DJ sets, carousels, inflatables, and workshops for children. The mask awards ceremony was held at 5:30 PM in Piazza XX Settembre, followed by the award ceremony for the school drawings contest. Class 5B of the Don Luciano Sarti primary school had won the official poster contest.
