Edition 2025 — Carnival of the Valleys

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, Noasca celebrated the Carnival of the Valleys with the coronation of Sara Ferrando as the Countess of Noaschetta and Deserta. The new Countess made her entrance from the historic balcony of the former Roscio family home, according to tradition, and then lit the bonfire that closed the official event. The Mayor of Noasca and the President of the Gran Paradiso National Park Authority were in attendance.

Sara Ferrando, Countess 2025

On March 29, 2025, the Carnival of the Valleys brought Noasca to life with its traditional closing of the Orco and Soana valleys' carnival season. The star of the edition was Sara Ferrando, proclaimed Countess of Noaschetta and Deserta, making her entrance as tradition dictates from the historic balcony of the former Roscio family home.

The parade featured numerous historical groups: the Pifferi e Tamburi of Arnad, the Reis ad biru of Ceresole Reale, the Duke of Locana, and masks from Sparone, Pont Canavese, Castellamonte, and Agliè. After greetings from the Mayor of Noasca and the President of the Park Authority, Mauro Durbano, the Countess lit the bonfire that concluded the official event. The day ended with dinner and dancing at the Palanoasca, organized by the Pro Loco.
