Edition 2025 — Carnival of the Best

In 2025, the new Pro Loco of Luserna San Giovanni, reorganized in the summer, began bringing festivals back to the town and laid the groundwork for carnival events in Piazza Partigiani. The Val Pellice experiences Carnival through the traditional allegorical float competitions of the Saluzzo and Pinerolo areas, which inspired the subsequent Carnival of the Best.

2025 was the year of the rebirth of the Pro Loco of Luserna San Giovanni, with a new board determined to bring the richness of past festivals and events back to the town. During that period, the Carnival in Val Pellice and the Pinerolo valleys continued to live on through the traditional allegorical float competitions of the Saluzzo area, true papier-mâché works created by local groups. From this tradition, the idea of the Carnival of the Best was born, the event that has brought the most award-winning floats of the season to Luserna San Giovanni since 2026.
