Carnival – Licodia Eubea in Maschera

Three days of celebration in March 2025

The 2025 edition of "Licodia Eubea in Maschera" was held from Sunday, March 2, to Tuesday, March 4, 2025. On Sunday, March 2, the masquerade parade started at 4:30 PM from Piazza Frate Francesco Cascio to reach Piazza Garibaldi, where dancing and entertainment with DJ Giuseppe Li Favi continued from 6:00 PM; in the evening, at 10:00 PM, there was a DJ set by Aldo Miano at Piazzale Kennedy.

On Monday, March 3, at 5:00 PM, it was time for the little ones with a masquerade party for children at the Badia, featuring games and shows. On Tuesday, March 4, the second masquerade parade, again starting at 4:30 PM from Piazza Frate Francesco Cascio, concluded in Piazza Garibaldi with performances, shows, and a DJ set by Vito Occhipinti, leading up to the awards ceremony for the best costumes and groups. The event, organized by the Municipality with the collaboration of the Universal Civil Service, confirmed the vibrancy of the Carnival of Licodia Eubea, in the province of Catania.
