Carnival in the Square

The 2025 edition of Carnival in the Square once again offered in Matelica the usual Carnival event designed for children. In the historic center, between Piazza Enrico Mattei and the Loggiato degli Ottoni, children and families gathered for an afternoon of colors, games, and joy.

As tradition dictates, the festival featured entertainment for children, music, face painting, and plenty of confetti, in an atmosphere of sharing and lightheartedness. The initiative, with free admission, was organized by the Pro Matelica Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Matelica, as part of the winter events that liven up the city in the province of Macerata.
