Edition 2025 — Pienza Carnival
In 2025, the Carnival once again animated Piazza Pio II in Pienza with the traditional costume party dedicated to children. Amidst confetti, streamers, and colorful costumes, the town's Renaissance square was transformed into a large play area for families from the village and the Val d'Orcia, in the province of Siena.
The Carnival in Piazza Pio II confirmed its role as a winter appointment for the Pienza community in 2025 as well. The festival, organized in the spirit of Tuscan folk traditions, gathered masked children in the famous square designed by Bernardo Rossellino, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia.
An afternoon of family-friendly joy, featuring entertainment, costumes, and confetti in one of the most beautiful historic centers in the province of Siena, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
