The Carnival of a town in Brescia

The Carnival in Mazzano is the Carnival celebration of the Municipality of Mazzano, in the Province of Brescia, on the outskirts of the city and the Franciacorta region. Organised by the Municipality, it is an event that primarily attracts families and children, with its parade of masked groups that crosses the town centre.

From the start to the arrival in the square

The procession begins at the Palazzetto dello Sport and winds its way through the town's streets, concluding in Piazza del Mercato, the heart of the celebration. Along the route and upon arrival, there will be entertainment, music, and activities designed to engage both young and old.

A celebration for children

The Mazzano Carnival pays great attention to the little ones: among the offerings are face painting, balloons, and many entertainment activities that make the day a fun occasion for the whole family. Masks and costumes colour the streets of the town, in a cheerful atmosphere that renews the local Carnival tradition every year.

A community tradition

Although it lacks the spectacular dimension of major historical carnivals, the Mazzano Carnival preserves the authentic value of town festivals: a simple and heartfelt moment of gathering, where the community comes together to celebrate the arrival of the Carnival season in the Brescia region.
