Edition 2025 — Casali Carnival

In 2025, the Casali di Poggio Nativo Carnival once again enlivened the district with its parade of floats and costumed groups. As every year, the festival, organized by local volunteers, concluded in Piazza San Silvestro Papa with music, confetti, and traditional seasonal sweets. A community event that marks the beginning of the carnival season in the Rieti Sabina region.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 edition of the Carnival in Casali di Poggio Nativo confirmed the festival's tried-and-tested formula: allegorical floats prepared during the winter by the district's residents, costumed groups, children in fancy dress, and a long parade through the streets of Casali to Piazza San Silvestro Papa.

The event, promoted by the Comitato Casali di Poggio Nativo in the Municipality of Poggio Nativo (province of Rieti, Lazio), remained free to attend, with the usual distribution of frappe and castagnole. No detailed program for the edition was released: information was communicated locally through the committee's social media channels and posters displayed in the village.
