Edition 2025 — Portoferraio Carnival
In 2025, Carnival once again brought the historic center of Portoferraio to life during the month of February, confirming its status as a traditional highlight of the Elban winter season. A town square celebration featuring masks, music, and traditional seasonal sweets, successfully engaging families, children, and tourists in a shared atmosphere of joy.
The 2025 edition of the Carnival Festival brought color and joy to the historic center of Portoferraio, on Elba Island, in the province of Livorno. As per tradition, the festival combined masks, music, and typical Carnival sweets, including the essential fritters.
The event proved to be a popular celebration for the Elban community and visitors, renewing the Carnival appointment in the squares of the Tuscan archipelago's capital.
