Edition 2025 — Gravina Carnival

In 2025, the Gravina in Puglia Carnival once again brought the allegorical float parade created by local parishes to the streets. Amidst traditional masks, majorettes, and marching bands, the procession crossed the center during the carnival period, confirming the strong communal character of the Murgia festival and concluding with the popular rites of the funeral of Giuann.

The 2025 edition of the Gravina in Puglia Carnival renewed the tradition of the allegorical float parade built by local parishes. During the carnival period, the center of the city on the Murgia came alive with the procession of floats, masked groups, majorettes, and bands, in a family-friendly celebration. Alongside the parade, the city preserved the popular rites linked to the funeral of Giuann Carnevale, organized by local associations. The free event involved both young and old along the main streets of the center, reaffirming the identity of a community that experiences Carnival as a moment of gathering and memory.
