Edition 2025 — Carnevaletto Va Casa Casa

The 2025 edition of the Carnevaletto Va Casa Casa took place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Torrevecchia Teatina. At 4:00 PM, the Pulcinella parade, with their large flower-adorned conical hats and ribbons, set off from Piazza San Rocco for the traditional house-to-house ritual. The day concluded with the trial and burning of King Carnival in the square, amidst folk songs, games for children, and typical Abruzzo carnival dishes.

The 2025 edition was held on Sunday, February 23 in Torrevecchia Teatina, in the province of Chieti. The Pulcinella procession started at 4:00 PM from Piazza San Rocco, kicking off the traditional house-to-house route (the "sdijunɘ") with banquets, songs, and the famous song of the twelve months.

The event, organized by the Compagnia Tradizioni Teatine with the Penelope Association and the Municipality, concluded with the performance of the trial of King Carnival and the final burning in the square. There was no shortage of typical dishes — polenta, omelets, fried pastries like frappe and castagnole — and entertainment dedicated to children, confirming the community's strong bond with this ancient folk tradition.
