Carnevaletto di Perano 2025

The 2025 edition of the Carnevaletto di Perano took place on Sunday, February 16, in the town's historic center, in the province of Chieti. The program followed the traditional schedule: at 4:30 PM, the questua through the village streets with Le Pulgenelle and Le Masciarielle; at 5:00 PM, the masked procession with the Dead Carnival King's float, led by the team leader with a town crier's trumpet; at 6:00 PM, the dramatization of the twelve months of the year in Piazza Monumento, with the burning of the Carnival effigy.

Following this, the community offered the Carnival Table with typical Perano dishes. Throughout the day, the event also hosted the "Re Zenzellune" from Gallo Matese (CE) and "Le Zite" from Letino (CE), highlighting the ties between the traditional carnivals of the central-southern Apennines.
