20th Carnevale Trophy 2025
The twentieth edition of the Carnevale Trophy took place on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in San Salvo Marina, in the province of Chieti, on the usual flat seafront circuit closed to traffic. The event, organized by the Atletica Velo Club San Salvo, opened the Abruzzo amateur calendar as the first stage of the Giro d'Abruzzo.
At the start, about 170 amateur cyclists from Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, and the rest of Central and Southern Italy. Among the main protagonists of the various categories were Nasoni, D'Anna, Agostini, and Gentile. Ciclistica Valle del Trigno won the Carnevale Trophy reserved for the largest team for the third consecutive year. As per tradition, the day concluded with the award ceremony and the pasta party hosted by the Pro Loco San Salvo.
