Edition 2025 — Carnevale in Allegria

The seventh edition of the Carnevale in Allegria colored Locorotondo between late February and early March 2025, with parades of papier-mâché allegorical floats through the streets of the historic center. Masked groups and associations interpreted themes from films and cartoons, accompanied by musical groups, in the spirit of the traditional U Monacidd mask.

Carnevale in Allegria 2025 — the seventh edition

The seventh edition of the Carnevale in Allegria confirmed the success of the event in Locorotondo, in the Itria Valley. The parades of papier-mâché allegorical floats crossed the main streets of the village, accompanied by musical groups and great popular participation.

Among the themes brought to the stage by the masked groups were Inside Out (Azione Cattolica and Associazione Gemma Galgani), Pinocchio (L'Isola delle Piccole Stelle), The Smurfs (Associazione Mancini e Dintorni), and Toy Story (Elisa group). The event, promoted by the Municipality of Locorotondo with the Associazione Carnevale tra le Cummerse and local schools, reaffirmed its intergenerational and free nature.
