Carnevale d'Autore of Santa Croce sull'Arno

The 2025 edition confirmed the great popularity of the Carnevale d'Autore of Santa Croce sull'Arno. After the parade of children from nursery and primary schools and the Fat Thursday events between Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Matteotti, the event reached its grand finale on Sunday, March 2, with over 3,000 spectators. The four groups—Gli Spensierati, Il Nuovo Astro, La Lupa, and La Nuova Luna—competed with masks made of recycled leather and original choreography. At the end, jury prizes were awarded, with a significant victory for the Gli Spensierati group. The "Carnival at School" project further engaged the youngest participants.
