The Associations Festival in Carnago

In Carnago, in the Province of Varese, the Associations Festival is the moment when the town's associative fabric tells its story to the public. Organized by Pro Loco Carnago in collaboration with local entities, it brings together sports groups, cultural associations, and volunteer organizations in Piazza Falcone e Borsellino for a weekend of activities open to all.

Sport, Games, and Inclusion

The program intertwines sport with themes of inclusion: floorball tournaments, climbing and acrobatic trial demonstrations, five senses games with interactive stations, and the 'A Step Beyond Disability' walk with schoolchildren. There are also tournaments for all ages, from Auser and Alpini association buraco games to darts and table football tournaments.

Workshops and Demonstrations

Sunday is dedicated to the associations' exhibition stands, creative workshops for children, and sports and first aid demonstrations. It's an opportunity to get to know those who animate the town's life up close and, perhaps, to get involved in volunteering or a new activity.

Live Music

Closing each day is live music: Saturday evening with a tribute concert retracing the greatest hits of an Italian music icon, and Sunday with an orchestral ensemble. The Associations Festival is thus, at the same time, a sporting, cultural, and musical event that tells the identity of Carnago.
