Carlo Rambaldi Award

The first edition of the Carlo Rambaldi Award was held in Vigarano Mainarda from September 17 to 24, 2025, on the occasion of the centenary of the special effects master's birth. On September 19, the morning was dedicated to schools, with the naming of a small square after Rambaldi and the awards ceremony for the narrative competition "My E.T."; in the afternoon, awards were given for short films, digital works, original music, graphics, and painting. On September 20, in Vigarano Pieve, a concert by the "S. Ambrogio" Band of Castel del Rio featured famous film soundtracks, while on September 17 and 24, there were meetings on video production with cinema experts. The event was promoted by the Municipality of Vigarano Mainarda with the Theremin Civic Music School, Feedback Aps, and numerous cultural partners from Emilia-Romagna.
