Edition 2025 — Carlo Maratti and Engraving

The Carlo Maratti and Engraving exhibition opened on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Francesco Podesti Civic Art Gallery in Ancona, kicking off the 4th Centenary celebrations of the Baroque master born in Camerano in 1625. The opening was accompanied by an international study day dedicated to his engraved work.

The launch of the exhibition in December 2025 marked one of the central moments of the 4th Centenary celebrations of the birth of Carlo Maratti (Camerano, 1625 - Rome, 1713). At the Francesco Podesti Civic Art Gallery in Ancona, a selection of 44 engravings, curated by Simonetta Prosperi Valenti Rodinò and Stefano Papetti, was presented.

The inauguration on December 19, 2025, was accompanied by an international study day on the Roman Baroque, promoted by the Municipality of Ancona together with the Ministry of Culture, the Marche Region, and the Municipalities of Camerano and Ascoli Piceno.
