Carlevè 'd Racunis (Racconigi Carnival)

The Carlevè 'd Racunis 2025 took place on Saturday, March 8, in the center of Racconigi. The festivities began at 2:30 PM with a children's masquerade party in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, organized by the Racconigincentro association, followed by guided tours and workshops at the Royal Castle. In the afternoon, the awards ceremony for the "Carnival in the Shop Window" competition, dedicated to the work of primary school students, took place, along with the investiture of the Giandoja and Giacometta masks and the presentation of the city keys. In the evening, after the opening of food stalls on Corso Principi di Piemonte, there was a static exhibition of five allegorical floats with costumed groups, followed by a masquerade party with a DJ set. Throughout the day, a funfair was available in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà.
