Cardoncello Mushroom Festival

The 2025 edition of the Cardoncello Mushroom Festival in Poggiorsini, the 13th, was held on October 18 and 19, 2025 in Piazza Aldo Moro, inaugurating the "Cardoncello on the road" tour of the Alta Murgia.

The evening of Saturday the 18th saw the opening of the food stalls (with a menu curated by the De Nora-Lorusso Hotel Institute), the magic show by Mago Fester, and the concert by the group I Paipers. The day of Sunday the 19th opened with morning trekking towards the Murgia plateaus, the exhibition of the Fiat 500 Club Italia, the "AperiFungo" aperitif, and the performance of a roaming band from Molfetta, amidst tastings, folklore, and entertainment for children.

As per tradition, the event offered free admission and celebrated the Cardoncello mushroom and the typical flavors of the Bari Alta Murgia.
