Cardoncello Mushroom and Wild Boar Meat Festival

The 12th edition of the festival, initially scheduled for November 22-23 and later postponed to November 29-30, 2025 due to regional elections, brought the historic center of Cassano delle Murge to life with gastronomic stalls dedicated to the cardoncello mushroom and, a new feature this year, wild boar meat. Amidst the ancient alleys and Piazza Garibaldi, visitors were able to taste traditional Murgia dishes accompanied by roving live performances, exhibitors of typical products, and local crafts. The event concluded the Cardoncello on the Road 2025 circuit, promoted by the UNPLI Pro Loco associations in the Alta Murgia.
