Second edition: the award to Maurizio Serra

The 2nd edition of the Cardinal Giulio Raimondo Mazzarino International Award, promoted by the Abruzzo Region in Pescina, was conferred upon ambassador and writer Maurizio Serra, a member of the Académie française, for his exceptional profile in contemporary diplomacy and the value of his cultural work as a tool for understanding and international dialogue.

The ceremony was held at the Casa Museo Mazzarino in Pescina, with institutional addresses — including one by Gianni Letta —, readings by Giovanna Luisi, music by Maestro Giuseppe Palerma, and a roundtable moderated by Sergio Venditti. The day concluded with a concert by the Magnifico Italian Trio at the Teatro San Francesco.
