Carcavegia Bonfire

The 2025 edition of the Carcavegia Bonfire took place on January 5th in Premosello-Chiovenda. In the afternoon, starting at 2:00 PM, children equipped with horns and cowbells paraded through the village with the effigies, while at 8:45 PM, the traditional bonfire was lit as a symbol of good luck for the new year. The evening, organized by the Pro Loco, included the distribution of hot chocolate and mulled wine, as well as a visit from the Befana, who brought sweets and coal to the children. The celebration then continued at the Arci Club. As per tradition, the hamlet of Colloro also celebrated its own Carcavegia.
