The 60th edition of the Capri-Naples Gulf Marathon took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, covering the 36 kilometers from Capri to Naples, with twenty athletes from eight nations and three continents. Italian swimmer Alessio Occhipinti triumphed, marking his fourth victory, while Argentine Mayte Puca won the women's category.

Capri-Naples 2025: the 60th edition

The 60th edition of the historic Capri-Naples crossing, valid for the Trofeo Vecchio Amaro del Capo, took place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, on the classic 36-kilometer course to the Circolo Canottieri Napoli. Twenty athletes from eight nations and three continents participated.

The winner was Italian Alessio Occhipinti (Fiamme Oro), who finished in 6h07'11", one of the best times ever, securing his fourth win in the event and nearing Giulio Travaglio's record of five victories. Among the women, success went to Argentine Mayte Puca, achieving her third consecutive victory after those in 2023 and 2024. The season was preceded by open qualifying trials held in June and July.
