Caprese Michelangelo Chestnut and PDO Marrone Festival

The 55th edition of the Caprese Michelangelo Chestnut and PDO Marrone Festival was held on the weekends of October 18-19 and 25-26, 2025, managed by the renewed Caprese Eventi CE20 committee in collaboration with the Municipality, the Union of Municipalities of the Tuscan Valtiberina, the Michelangelo Buonarroti Birthplace Museum, and local entities.

The program included the opening of a bobbin lace exhibition dedicated to the theme "Michelangelo 550", the "Caprese Michelangelo Wine International" tasting at the Birthplace Museum, the presentation of the book "mi nacque… Michelangelo… a Caprese", the official inauguration with historical groups and flag-wavers, wine tastings paired with local products, piano bars, magic shows, and the "Pastry Chef for a Day" competition dedicated to chestnut-based desserts. There was also a market along the ring road, sporting events, and guided bike rides. The event attracted thousands of visitors over the two weekends.
