Edition 2025 — Caprarola Balla
The first edition of Caprarola Balla
From May 8 to 11, 2025, Caprarola hosted the first edition of its European folk dance festival, conceived by local fashion designer Benedetta Bruzziches. The squares, gardens, and streets of the historic center were transformed into settings for music and dance, featuring international guests from the folk scene.
Every day, at 4 PM in Piazza Madonna and 5:45 PM at the Scuderie of Palazzo Farnese, free workshops open to everyone were held; from 9 PM, the dancing began with live concerts. Guests of the first edition included the groups Loogaroo (Belgium), Parapente 700 (Portugal), and Fratelli Tarzanelli (France). Participation was free and open, with lunches and dinners organized by the Pro Loco of Caprarola and the 'Classe 85' at the stables.
