Capo Sant'Alessio 10K – Arturo Mastroieni Memorial

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, the seafront of Sant'Alessio Siculo hosted the 20th edition of the Capo Sant'Alessio 10K – Arturo Mastroieni Memorial, a regional-level road race included in the Sicilian FIDAL calendar.

The event, organized by Atletica Savoca SSD a R.L. in collaboration with the Municipality of Sant'Alessio Siculo, was held on the traditional 2.5 km circuit along the coast. The fast, flat course was completed four times to cover the ten-kilometer race distance. The competition, open to categories from youth to masters of both genders, confirmed the success in terms of public and participant turnout that has accompanied the event for years, dedicated to the memory of local native Arturo Mastroieni, the first Sicilian to compete in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
