Edition 2025 — Capo di Leuca Festival

The 5th edition of the Capo di Leuca Festival took place from July 20 to September 7, 2025, with 24 itinerant concerts and about 70 Italian and international artists in the sixteen municipalities of lower Salento. In Salve, the festival proposed two appointments, on August 4 and 18, with concerts at Palazzo Carida-Ramirez and the Le Trappite Open-Air Theater, accompanied by food and wine tastings of local products.

The 5th edition of the Capo di Leuca Festival in Salve

The fifth edition of the International Chamber Music Review opened on July 20, 2025, with the inaugural concert entrusted to the Brass Quintet of the Teatro alla Scala, and concluded on September 7, 2025, consisting of 24 itinerant concerts with about 70 Italian and international artists. Directed by pianist Alessandro Licchetta and promoted by Eleusi APS, the event crossed sixteen municipalities of the Capo di Leuca, in the Province of Lecce.

Two appointments were held in Salve. On August 4, 2025, at 9:00 PM, at Palazzo Carida-Ramirez, the concert "Viennese Echoes" was performed with Gianluigi Caldarola (clarinet), Natasha Korsakova and Manrico Padovani (violins), Cristian Musio (viola), and Gabriele Musio (cello). On August 18, 2025, at 9:00 PM, at the Le Trappite Open-Air Theater, the evening "Melodies of Love between Italy and Europe" was proposed with Silvia Susan Rosato Franchini (soprano), Emily De Salve (baritone), and Andrea Sequestro (piano). Before each concert, the public could participate in themed food and wine tastings, curated by the Melacotogna wine shop in Salve. The town also hosted the festival's free trombone and tuba masterclasses.
