Edition 2025 — Capo di Leuca Festival

The 5th edition of the Capo di Leuca Festival took place from July 20 to September 7, 2025, featuring 24 traveling concerts and about 70 Italian and international artists across sixteen municipalities of lower Salento. In Gagliano del Capo, the event took place on Friday, August 1st, at 9:00 PM, in the cloister of the "Vincenzo Ciardo" Municipal Library, featuring soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci and pianist Alessandro Licchetta.

The 5th edition of the Capo di Leuca Festival

The fifth edition of the International Chamber Music Review opened on Saturday, July 20, 2025, with the La Scala Brass Quintet at the Castle of Morciano di Leuca, and concluded on September 7, 2025, featuring 24 traveling concerts with about 70 Italian and international artists. Directed by pianist Alessandro Licchetta and promoted by Eleusi APS, the event spanned sixteen municipalities of the Capo di Leuca area.

In Gagliano del Capo, the concert was held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 9:00 PM, in the cloister of the "Vincenzo Ciardo" Municipal Library, with the program "The Generation of '70: Hahn, Ravel, and Respighi". The protagonists were soprano Anna Caterina Antonacci, one of the most acclaimed international performers, and pianist Alessandro Licchetta, in a refined journey through Maurice Ravel's "Five Greek Folk Songs," Ottorino Respighi's "Aretusa," and the lyrics of Reynaldo Hahn. The 2025 edition also offered free masterclasses for young musicians, thanks to the "Per chi crea" project supported by SIAE and the Ministry of Culture.

The program included "Five Greek Folk Songs" by Maurice Ravel, "Aretusa" op. 107 by Ottorino Respighi, and lyrics by Reynaldo Hahn. The 2025 festival (July 20 - September 7) featured 24 traveling concerts in the municipalities of Alessano, Andrano, Castrignano del Capo, Corsano, Diso, Gagliano del Capo, Matino, Morciano di Leuca, Poggiardo, Presicce-Acquarica, Salve, Specchia, Taurisano, Taviano, Tricase, and Ugento.
