Capitelli. Traces of Rubra Earth

The 2025 edition of Paolo Capitelli's exhibition path was hosted in one of the most significant historic buildings of the Piacenza area, Castello di Agazzano. The exhibition Capitelli. Inner Landscapes, inaugurated on April 11, 2025, presented a selection of works in which color, materiality, and essentiality lead the gaze towards abstraction, while always maintaining a common thread with the beloved landscape of the Piacenza Val Nure and the Ligurian territories. The installation, curated by art historian Silvia Bonomini with critic Carlo Francou, accompanied the monographic volume dedicated to the artist. This previous event laid the groundwork for the subsequent exhibition in 2026 at Torre Colombo in Bettola.
