Edition 2025 — Threshing Festival

The 6th edition of the Threshing Festival took place on July 26–27, 2025, at the Mulino Di Pietro farmyard in Capena. Two days dedicated to the re-enactment of grain threshing, with the vintage threshing machine in action, zero-mile Sabina food stalls, music, games, and insights into local agricultural traditions. Saturday featured an evening opening with greetings and the start of the food stalls, while Sunday involved local schools.

Over the weekend of July 26–27, 2025, Capena celebrated the sixth edition of the Threshing Festival at the Mulino Di Pietro farmyard. The event showcased the re-enactment of grain threshing with vintage agricultural machinery, accompanied by a rich zero-mile gastronomic offering from the Capena countryside: bread, cheeses, fried snacks, desserts, and local wines. There was no shortage of cultural moments, with insights into the agrarian myths of the ancient world, along with live music, traditional games, and activities dedicated to children and schools in the Sabina region, confirming the deep bond between Capena and its peasant identity.
