On Sunday, May 25, 2025, Marsala celebrated the spring event of the Movimento Turismo del Vino. Donnafugata welcomed wine lovers to its historic Marsala estate from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM, featuring tastings, food pairings, musical interludes, and guided tours, available by online reservation while spots lasted.
The Cantine Florio enlivened the day starting at 11:00 AM, with guided tours through high naves and oak casks, roving tastings, masterclasses, and live music, following a path tracing the Florio family's history on Sicily's western coast. A convivial edition that confirmed Marsala, in the municipality of the same name in the province of Trapani, as one of the capitals of Sicilian wine tourism.
